Stuart Joseph studied Theatre and English at the University of Miami.
He has a BA in History and Music from Adelphi University. He has also
studied magic performance and techniques with world class magicians,
Jeff McBride, Jonathan Pendragon, Lance Burton, Jim Cellini, Gazzo the
Great, and Matthew Taylor.
Stuart's other interests revolve around popular culture such as
movies, old time radio, early TV, vaudeville, British Music Hall, and burlesque comedy. Stuart
helped write recreations of an old time radio show and a 1950's
television variety show for Main Street Arts, a community arts and theatre organization in Saxtons River, VT. He performed in a number of the OTR sketches and
was the MC for the TV show, as well as choosing and editing vintage tv clips that were used so the audience could get an idea of 1950's TV or brought back memories to those that had seen them when they were originally broadcast.
He has been writing about his interests, posting video clips and links to more information on his Live Journal page at:
Stuart's Live Journal
Always an avid outdoors type, he was a leading rock climber and hiker
during college, switching to sailing while living on Long Island, and
picking up martial arts along the way. Other hobbies include skiing,
wood working and wine making.
Together with Pat he has three grown girls and two grandchildren.
When Dr. Mac started a full time Housecall practice Pat left the world
of Management Consulting to concentrate on the office end of the
practice. She answers questions and the phones, makes appointments and
keeps the schedules. She also is responsible for the bookkeeping and
accounts.
