Veda and Stuart Joseph

Veda Crewe Joseph, Artist, Calligrapher, Historical Costumer Veda Crewe Joseph is an artist/performer and teacher living in Bellows Falls, VT with her husband Stuart and two wire-haired fox terriers named Beau and Duffy. Veda was born and raised in Vermont and went to school in Philadelphia and New York. She teaches elementary Art (K-5) in Claremont, NH and has a freelance business doing illustration, calligraphy and illumination and Historical clothing. She is a trained soprano and is very involved in local community theater including yearly Gilbert and Sullivan productions among other things. She plays Queen Elizabeth I at the Vermont Renaissance Festival and just finished a run as Prospero in The Tempest for the Vermont Theatre Company's Shakespeare in the Park.

Stuart Joseph, The Great Scot, Bardic Magician Stuart Joseph is married to Veda Crewe Joseph (see above). He has been a performer for more than 40 years as an actor, a folk singer, and a magician. He has turned his attention to researching and performing historical magic as The Great Scot, Bardic Magician at Renaissance Faires, (including the Vermont Renaissance Festival), Scottish, Celtic, and other Festivals, private parties, schools and libraries.

Stuart Joseph studied Theatre and English at the University of Miami. He has a BA in History and Music from Adelphi University. He has also studied magic performance and techniques with world class magicians, Jeff McBride, Jonathan Pendragon, Lance Burton, Jim Cellini, Gazzo the Great, and Matthew Taylor.

Stuart's other interests revolve around popular culture such as movies, old time radio, early TV, vaudeville, British Music Hall, and burlesque comedy. Stuart helped write recreations of an old time radio show and a 1950's television variety show for Main Street Arts, a community arts and theatre organization in Saxtons River, VT. He performed in a number of the OTR sketches and was the MC for the TV show, as well as choosing and editing vintage tv clips that were used so the audience could get an idea of 1950's TV or brought back memories to those that had seen them when they were originally broadcast.

Paul Mac Menamin and Pat Mizzi

Paul Mac Menamin, DVM Paul Mac Menamin was born in Dublin Ireland and finished schooling there as a veterinarian. Practiced for two years in Northern Ireland. Met his wife Pat Mizzi during second year at Trinity College Dublin and got married shortly after graduation. Immigrated to this country in 1981 and worked toward licensure in NY State. Since then has worked as practicing veterinarian in an animal hospital and started a home visit practice in 1989.

Always an avid outdoors type, he was a leading rock climber and hiker during college, switching to sailing while living on Long Island, and picking up martial arts along the way. Other hobbies include skiing, wood working and wine making.

Together with Pat he has three grown girls and two grandchildren.

Pat Mizzi Pat Mizzi is Dr. Mac's wife of more than 25 years. They met while both were studying at Trinity College in Dublin Ireland. Pat holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Trinity that she earned while Dr. Mac was in Veterinary School there.

When Dr. Mac started a full time Housecall practice Pat left the world of Management Consulting to concentrate on the office end of the practice. She answers questions and the phones, makes appointments and keeps the schedules. She also is responsible for the bookkeeping and accounts.

Mark Alexander

Mark Alexander I'm a software engineer currently residing in Silicon Valley, California, where I've lived all my life up until now. I am an amateur pianist with a passion for 19th and early 20th century classical music. I also enjoy bicycling, hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. I have very wide-ranging literary interests, from Jane Austen to Ursula LeGuin. I was married for many years and have two grown sons.
